Education
Education is considered one of the main challenges for refugee children in the camp. Schools are working hard to offer the best education and to keep the kids in school as much as possible. Due to the high number of kids in school, many are now considered slow learners. It’s very hard for them to focus in school while there are many other students in the classroom with a lot of distraction.
Many children are also dropping out of school due to the need to offer more income for their families. Male children work with fathers to help support their families and returning back to school after that is almost impossible.
We are working very hard on keeping those children in school. We offer extra classes in English and Math to support as much children as possible.. We also hold fun sessions for the children and give awards for the ones with high grades. We need the school to be a fun place more that a task they are doing with no interest.
